Anvil

Our web app at app.theanimeden.net also available as a mobile application for Android and iOS is hosted with Anvil, a web app development and hosting service operated by The Tuesday Project Ltd. Anvil records the IP addresses of the users of apps hosted on its service, to record the approximate (city-level) location of Anvil users so they can manage and scale their infrastructure, and to prevent abuse. MyAnimeList and AniList

This website shows certain content from third-party list tracking services MyAnimeList and AniList. When fetching this content, MyAnimeList and AniList receive as an essential technical requirement the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the device used to access this website. This is an essential requirement that enables the delivery of content from these third parties, such as the anime and manga images, to your device.

In addition, The Anime Den collects and processes publicly available data related to MyAnimeList and Anilist user profiles as described in section "What data do we collect?" of this privacy policy.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, text files stored on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.

Google Analytics 4 collects coarse geo-location data by deriving the following metadata from IP addresses: City (and the derived latitude, and longitude of the city), Continent, Country, Region, Subcontinent (and ID-based counterparts). For EU-based traffic, IP-address data is used solely for geo-location data derivation before being immediately discarded. It is not logged, accessible, or used for any additional use cases. When Analytics collects measurement data, all IP lookups are performed on EU-based servers before forwarding traffic to Analytics servers for processing. Analytics drops any IP addresses that it collects from EU users before logging that data via EU domains and servers.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
